Year 7 – 9 Sports Elective First Aid Incursion
On Monday the 28th and Thursday the 31st Year 7,8 & 9 Sport Elective Students had the opportunity to gain their First Aid Certificate and be qualified First Aiders. They learnt the necessary skills to conduct CPR using the DRSABCD technique. They also learnt how to control bleeds using pressure pads and learnt how to create and apply slings for broken bones. All students are also qualified in identifying symptoms of anaphylaxis and know how to administer an Epipen. Well done to all the girls.
